- Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2024As I was failing to stretch this tire around my 16x2.125" rim after calling in a favor and boiling it for a half-hour in a local soup kitchen cauldron, I kept thinking to myself "if only it could get on there I'd be set for life..." But then it occurred to me that if the manufacturer couldn't even get the metric measurements right on their metal molds, who's to say they'd mix the rubber elements in correct proportions to avoid long term collapse like what happens with tofu construction cement?
The inner diameter of the tire is clearly not 280 millimeters, it is about 272, and the stated point of where the bead meets the outer edge of the rim is even more clearly not 320. If sellers tried to claim "oh those are the fully stretched numbers," they would still need to deal with the contradiction that the space between the inner limit and the point that meets the edge of the rim is less than a centimeter in thickness, not two full centimeters. Stretching the tire to miraculous extremes would only chance to decrease that centimeter, not increase it.
The product listing is also lying on its face with its own descriptors about its size when it says the inner edge width is 33mm while also stating it is meant for a 30mm wide rim. The time I spent to write this review is worth more than the tire unless you have some perfect undefined oddity like a 15" tire to replace it with.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2024Bought these a while back as an upgrade project for my electric bike, after a lesson about hubris and my own capabilities I took it to some professionals. They tried to install them till they notified me there is no way these are 16" tires, and that they're mislabeled. They identify them to be close to 14" tires
