This review is for the 26x1.4 tire.
I replaced my 26 x 1.95 knobby tires on my bike with two of these tires. So far, I've ridden 200 miles on these tires on limestone crush, paved trails and roads. The tire is labeled and says 85PSI, so I filled both of my tires to near this level. The tires handle really well, are easy to corner with, and are a definite improvement on speed versus my old knobby tires.
In terms of using your MTB on the roads with these tires (the 1.4 tires), you will notice that you can get away with a few hard bumps and still be OK. In slick conditions, I've managed to do well with the tires also (although I gave myself more braking distance.) The tires are very comfortable and make the ride enjoyable.
I can't compare these to other slicks as these are the only tires aside from my knobby tires that I own; however, I don't regret the purchase at all.
