- Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2013This is a great little kit for one reason that others might not have thought to list yet: Portability. I'm not just talking about the portability that lets you throw something in your saddle pack or in your shorts pocket. I'm talking about the (excellent) portability that actually lets this kit fit under your seat between the cross rails and I'll explain how.
First, let's talk about what it has; the kit features some sandpaper squares, patches, tire pullers, glue and patches, or basically what any little kit has. Included are enough patches of a few varieties of size to suit most any moderate rider through a longish period of time. With kits like these, it's never the patches that you run out of, it's the glue. So keep that in mind and keep it sealed tight without ANY air gap.
Okay, so why is this such a great kit that fits under the seat? Well (for my seat at least), the kit can actually be wedged between the cross bars of a seat and held in place with one of the tire irons if your seat is anything like mine. So, if you have a bike with one of those non-beach cruiser seats, you're in luck. This means that you only need a small CO2 inflation device attached to your bike to have a road-ready kit that can handle any normal flat situation.
You could accomplish this same thing by putting the individual items in a plastic baggie, but at least for me, this case works a lot better and fits just well enough to seem made for my bike seat.
Oh and did I mention that this is also a extremely well-priced little kit? Given that, and assuming you have a racier seat, you can't go wrong with this one.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2011The two levers that came with this patch kit is the best part, because I need to spend about the same amount on 3 levers, and more than that after figuring in shipping. So I basically got the patch kit for next to nothing. The patch kit itself is also very good. It has enough patches for 6 tires, even though the remaining patches are probably too big for my road tires. The patches stuck to the tire tube tightly. The only bad thing about this kit is the total lack of written instructions. The manufacturer apparently assume that you know how to patch tire tubes. Luckily I do know how. It is possible that other kits have instructions, but make sure you know how to patch tire tubes in case it does not.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2013I have tried the tire levers and its hardy enough to remove tires. Not sure why other reviewers comment that it is too soft. I have used it to replace tire tubes. I have not use the patch yet. It comes with more patch and includes cement compared to the parktools kit versionPark Tool Tire & Tube Repair Kit - TR-1C (about the same pricing). And that why I decided to buy zefal brand. It also comes with a tube of cement which I have not use yet. Everything looks like they are well made and of good quality.
However, I don't find any pin in the box for the Schrader valve. The lever has a hook and the box has a round protusion. Is one of them the pin for the Schrader valve?
- Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2011I wasn't particularly satisfied with this product at all. I had put multiple thorn holes in both of my bike tires, so decided I'd try and patch it myself. On a positive note, this kit is one of the best values I could find online for such kits. The addition of the plastic tire-irons are a great addition to expedite the entire process.
However, this kit doesn't come with much by way of instructions - some simple pictures printed on the inside of the lid are about all you get. The process in and of itself isn't especially difficult, but it was a bit difficult to determine which side of the patch was meant to be glued on. Beyond that, getting a good seal was an arduous process, despite the adhesive solidifying fairly quickly. There is also a kind of tissue-paper protective wrapping that covers one side of each patch, and in 3 out of the 4 patches I applied, peeling off this paper left fair amounts of residue on the side of the patch that was to be bonded, and I ended up having to reapply these patches as they ended up leaking air after adhering.
I might just be a tire noob, and this kit definitely does what it's intended to do. I was able to get one tire fixed fairly well and am now waiting to find out whether it leaks air over time or not. Overall, not too bad price-wise, but one should probably have a good understanding of how to apply patches (or find a decent how-to video) before considering purchasing this kit.

4.0 out of 5 stars Não tive de usar ainda
A única coisa que posso avaliar até este momento é a embalagem que abre sozinha e acaba espalhando todos os adesivos e a lixa na bolsa de selim (que é onde transporto).
