- Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2022This chain ring looks to be well made and works fine. The only issue I had was that in order to install this on my SRAM crankarm I had to grind the mounting tabs to actually fit onto the spider arms. The bolt holes are fine and spot on at 104BCD but the tabs were each about 0.5mm too long so the ring would not fit onto the crankarm. There is very little spare material around the bolt holes so grinding has to be very minimal and carefully done. I milled about .1mm at a time and kept checking fit until I got the ring to slide onto the crank arm. (this can easily be done with a dremel and grinding bit) It is best to do this very gradually so that you remove only the material that is necessary and not a bit more. (Keep in mind, I mounted this to a SRAM crankarm, this many not even be an issue with other crankarms).
All things considered, this is good value for the money spent and worth the extra work to get it installed.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2020Excellent value and well worth it. Very nicely machined and have ZERO problems with figment. The oval round idea is not new ( Shimano was one of first to use it over 20 years ago but called it Bio Pace and it was on all 3 front chainrings). As a 1X ,it’s great and you do feel the power increase as the oval side comes round the top part as you stroke down the crank. The value is the biggest benefit as others are twice to three times more expensive. Installed on Marlin 5 upgraded to a 1X drive with a hollow tech crank set. No complaints and well with conversion in both weight saved and looks
- Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2021I bought this chainring for a winter commuter bike. I typically use Raceface n/w chainrings, but I couldn't justify spending $45.00-$50.00 for a winter commuter. I thought I would try this brand, but I was skeptical of the quality. I am pleased with this product and it works well. The fit is not on par with the more expensive Raceface chainrings. I see reviews complaining about the chainring not fitting correctly - I had the same problem. However, ten minutes with a Dremel tool fixed that. I've taken this on many rides and I've had no problems with chain drop. In my opinion, for an inexpensive chainring, this does pretty well.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2020I purchased the 38t as I am more of a long distance biker on roads. Going from a round to oval chain ring, I'll tell you. You can tell that its easier to pedal. You get more power when you need it and less when you dont. Although, if you dont ride hills or inclines, this will not be as useful to you. On normal flat roads, this is, at best, fancy. You'll get looks about it but unless you're trying to pedal up a big hill to a trail you want or up a really big incline to try to get somewhere, it's not as useful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well, hasn't failed yet
Got it to replace a round Raceface chainring. I was worried my chain was skipping because it was stretched but I switched from a round Raceface ring to this oval shaped ring and Chain skip stopped completely. Still changed out the chain anyway but it was cool to know the chainring was the issue. Oval all the way! This ring seems to be decent quality aluminum especially for the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid product for the price.
I installed this on my one of my two enduro bikes. I switched from a front derailleur system to a (this) single chainring. The dimensions and materials are the same as the much more expensive chainring on my other bike. Works great and installed easily. Also, it arrived weeks before it was scheduled.
