Spot on to fit/ Very well made/ Great for Easton Wheels and many other uses
Do you absolutely need to buy Park Tools? No Are they made better than cheap alternatives? Yes Are they worth it? If you want to buy your tools once, yes. Some Park Tools are priced in a manner that makes them hard to justify. However, most are like this and just a few dollars more. For that few dollars more, you're going to get as close to an exact fit as possible and tools that are always made in a quality manner. I read a few criticisms about this tool and the most common was how things it is and concerns about how long it will hold up. I'm sorry, but both are absurd concerns. This tool is supposed to be this thing and as long as you are far and away exceeding torque limits, this tool will outlive me, you and everyone else. Again, outside of a few tools, Park Tools are marginally more expensive than cheap alternatives, but always superior. For my money, buy it once and never have to buy it again. I recommend this! Cheers! PS. For those with adjustable bearings on their Easton Wheels, this is what you need!

Treat yourself to Park tools. Life is frustrating and disappointing enough without introducing more through false economy.

I purchased this because a cheep set I bought from Amazon twisted rather than hold. On that same axle nut, this wrench held without an issue and I was finally able to service those bearings.

I have a light stand with wheels (for photography) and I have to really stretch the zipper of the carrying case to get it to close over the wheels, so I wanted to start removing them before packing the light stand for travel. This wrench works fine to remove the wheels and to put them back on, and it fits neatly into a little pouch with the wheels. It's perfect for what I need because this stand is not really meant for travel, so it's only occasionally that I have to remove the wheels. However, if this were for daily use, it is so thin that I really don't think it would last.

I bought the 15mm to work on a few bikes. I didn’t expect this to be a heavy duty task tool but more or less the assistance wrench when turning 2 nuts. For instance… I held the nut on my bike axle with a real wrench and then used this Park tool to hold the inner nut I could not reach with a 15mm from automotive tool box. This thin Park wrench was perfect. What I would not attempt to do with it is turn a heavy duty stuck nut such as a pedal. This 15mm also fit the pedal nut. However, it was really stuck. I would have damaged the wrench if I had attempted it. Instead I used a real 15mm wrench. It took my 200lb son on the opposite side holding the wrong pedal while I applied a real 15mm wrench to the side to be removed. The short handle wasn’t enough so I had to get a large pipe wrench and use it as an extension for the real 15mm wrench. After some cursing and a near busted knuckle, it popped loose. This process would have destroyed the park wrench. I would have been writing a negative review about how weak this wrench is. Yes, it’s thin, that’s the purpose. Know this going in and use the correct tool for the job.

awesome, any tool that can stop me from swearing deserves a pat on the back. If I could figure out where the back is on this thing. We've got two ottomans that get wheeled around a lot by the kids. Casters back themselves out and then they get wobbly and I can almost hear the wife getting the frying pan out of the cupboard ready to teach me what happens when the wood floors get gouges from sideways casters.

Amazon and Park Tool to the rescue. I sent the better part of an hour trying to tighten with too thick open end wrenches, tapping with a slotted screwdriver and hammer, pliers, all mechanical means at my disposal and was just ready to contemplate fire ( that's next in the decision tree, right?) ... well I decided to search the internet for flat wrenches in 17MM ( I know them as "ignition" wrenches) well found some tappet wrenches, then stumbled upon this wonderful bikers tool known as cone wrenches. Bought one.. waited the requisite two prime shipping days ( no time to go to the local bike shop hoping they had one) .. just got it literally 30 minutes ago and took me a mere two minutes to complete the task.

This tool will now reside in my special part of the tool box for the "saved my buns" and "never gonna let you go" section.

As far as the tool goes, you can't really get something this quality, this inexpensive, delivered to your door. I think if you were to deform this tool, what you were trying to tighten was either too tight, to loosen was welded or rusted on and should have been thrown away in the first place, or you were using the wrong tool. I know, cause I'm guilty of trying to use the closest tool more than I care to admit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Park quality, price is reasonable for shop grade tools

I bought one of these cone wrenches and it's exactly what you'd expect, the wrench is solid but thin enough that I never had problems squeezing it in to adjust the hubs of my various bikes. I only needed a few sizes but if you work on various bikes, it's probably worth it to buy the entire set. I just bought the 13, 15 and 19mm sizes I needed

Sometimes it help a lot to have two of the size you need. You can use one wrench to hold the locknut and a second one to adjust the cone.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ottima chiave a cono (o a sogliola) per dadi conici da 14 mm
Reviewed in Italy on October 2, 2017
