Product Description
We know you love the 133, 3133, and 157 baskets. But what happens when you want to haul something that isn't overly large, but can really weigh you down? We thought you'd probably bust out a welding torch and tack a couple of legs on the 133 basket. So that's exactly what we did. The 135 is the exact same size as our popular 133 and 3133 baskets with shorter handlebar mounts and legs bolted to the bottom of the basket. Perfect for a couple of two liters, or a six-pack with some chips and salsa to go. Give us some Fat Tire Ale, Mission Restaurant Style Tortilla Triangles and Frog Ranch salsa any day!

- Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2024Color: SilverVerified PurchaseI could not bolt the bottom to my wheel nut but I did put the bolt and nut on the extra hole the bicycle fork. I had some bolt and nut hardware from my skateboard I put on the top mountings. It worked out in the end. Just a little tinkering and some puzzle depending on what kind of bicycle you have. I bought my bicycle from Target.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2020Color: BlackVerified PurchaseThis basket is awesome. I spent a long time trying to research baskets for my fixie bike. I wanted something that would work well aesthetically as well as functionally and I feel this does the job great.
I needed a more shallow basket as my bike is a fixie/racer style so couldn't have the basket to deep or it would catch the front wheel.
The build on this is solid, American made I believe?
Looks good on the bike and functions well.
This is not for carrying massive amounts of cargo but perhaps a 12 pack of beer or a very small grocery shop.
I highly recommend it.
(p.s. simple enough to assemble)

- Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2011Color: SilverVerified PurchaseI purchased this to add to my beach cruiser for our camping trips. I carried my shih tzu around all weekend in it he weighs about 10 pounds. I went to the campground's store & purchased 2 gals of water, they fit perfect in it. It is a great sturdy basket. My husband put it on in about 5 minutes. Everything fit perfect & it looked great on my purple bike. Even after my bike was stolen at the campground and wrecked, the basket held up great. One small little bend in the top rail, but no major damage, my bike had more damage than the basket did. I would recommend this basket to anyone looking to carry items on their bike. This is a great product for campers for those trips to the store for ice, water or whatever. It's also super great for riding your favorite small dog around, and they love it too!! Highly recommended by me & my doggy FInnegan LOL!!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2015Color: BlackVerified PurchaseNow overall, I really like this basket, but I must note a few things.
The handlebar mounts: These are supposed to fit a 1" diameter bar well. It fits on fine on mine, but it's almost too loose. If I try to use the rubber pieces included to help with fit, it's too tight. I had to add a few rounds of electrical tape so that everything fit nicely.
Mounting the basket to fork: Now I have a quick release wheel, and I should have read more carefully, but I was under the impression that it was no big deal to just mount this to the eyelets on the fork. That would have worked just fine but with two exceptions. The kit does not include bolts for that and my fork was too fat for the arms to even reach the eyelet holes. Now there is a solution. Wald makes these extenders that they call "standoffs" to give you room to mount to the eyelets. For some reason the price here varies a lot, but you can call Wald and they'll send them to you for $5. A local bike shop was kind enough to make some tubes like that for me for free. All I had to do was go to the hardware store and get some M5 bolts to mount the arms.
Wald Basket/Rack Standoffs and bolts
After all that was said and done, the basket fit beautifully. I bought this one specifically because it was shallow enough to clear the awkwardly placed reflector on the front of my bike, and I am very happy with it. I was a little frustrated at first, but in the end it was money well spent.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2018Color: BlackVerified PurchaseFirst of all this is a great basket! Install was quick and easy. However it isn't for commuters who travel at speeds above 15 mph. With my lunchbox in the basket it slowed me a bit. A section I travel at about 20 mph I could only maintain 17 mph. I know that don't sound like much but it makes a difference on my 8 mile commute . In a 20 mph headwind my speed was reduced to 8. I took the lunchbox off and slung it by it's strap behind me and my speed increased to 13. I removed it and the mount hardware and zip tied it to my rear rack. I'm every happy with it there. A quality basket.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2019Color: SilverVerified PurchaseGreat so far! Installed well on my Linus Dutchi. A word of advice for the not-so-handy like me since I got stumped — where the short screw attaches to the hex nut, the hex nut stopped screwing in once it hit the rubber ring on one end, and thought it was strange how loose that attachment was. Turns out you need to get a wrench AND a screwdriver to tighten that part (wrench to hold the nut in place as you tighten with the screwdriver). Might seem like common sense for some but hope that can help someone
