    This is the second time I've ordered this bike basket and it gets harder and harder to track down - I wonder if Sunlite is not producing it anymore? Anyhow, I live in NYC and rely on my bike for everything and this basket is big enough to take a lasagna to a dinner party or fit two grocery shopping bags. This one is sturdier than a similar sized version from Wald, it can carry a fair amount of weight, and fits well onto the front wheel skewer if you don't have a spare set of braze-ons. I received it fairly quickly after ordering it as my last basket was ruined in a bike crash.

    I really liked the basket-- it's solid and good quality, but we had to do some tinkering with it because of where the gears of my bike were. We took off the clasps (they are on very solid) and had to move them over a slot to make room for my gears and also the curve of my handlebars. Overall, it's a good product, but make sure you have a strong man around to move the clasps just in case!

    I tried to order this basket as a gift from another company(Ocean Cycle), but was let down (they never sent it, wouldn't respond when I tried to contact them, & Amazon ended up giving me a refund). Despite not working out as a gift, I decided to go with a different company and get one for myself. I'm pleased to report that Niagra Cycle Works sent my order right away, and everything arrived in perfect condition. The basket is a wonderful size, my 11 pound dog fits easily ...even with other items. The adjustabe struts are what really make this basket work for me. I have a big chunky beach cruiser and the fenders are an issue, but this basket worked great.
